We're officially halfway into cookie season. Has your Girl Scout reached her goals? There's word that four (!) Badgerland girls have sold 2014 boxes and earned the trip to Disney World with many more working hard to hit that mark. Look for Cookie Program rewards coming in mid-April.

Keep sending us your cookie season photos and stories. We love to hear and share them!

What are you doing March 12?

Celebrate Girl Scouts birthday this Wednesday, March 12! Here's an idea: take your troop to a local fire, police or EMS station for a tour. In Madison, you'll be able to chat with real-life women firefighters and learn more about CampHERO.

To schedule a tour in Madison email CampHERO volunteer Bernadette Galvez or call her at 608.261.9844. Troops and individual Girl Scouts welcome. Other communities; contact your fire, police or EMS department directly to schedule. Note: Bernadette can also help connect troops outside greater Madison with fire departments in your communities.

Ban Bossy

Girl Scouts, in partnership with the Lean In Foundation, is launching a public service campaign called Ban Bossy. The goal is to create awareness around words we use that discourage girls from leadership roles...words such as bossy that have a negative label.

The campaign kicks off this week with a cover story in Parade featuring GSUSA CEO Anna Maria Chavez.

Look for information soon with tips and tools for Badgerland Girl Scout troops to use the campaign to talk to girls about Banning Bossy. Badgerland shops are stocking cool new Ban Bossy merchandise - see it below.
