Badgerland Council Girl Scouts will also be offering customers the opportunity to participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Share/Troop Care Program again this year. For 2011, the council-wide initiative for the cookie share program is to support local food pantries.
The Girl Scout Cookie Share/Troop Care Program is for those who want to support Girl Scouts by buying cookies, but cannot eat the cookies themselves (ex: diabetic, dieting, etc). Cookie Share is a true win-win opportunity as cookie share cookies support the Girl Scout and her goals, serves as a gift to an organization or group, and provides the purchaser the joy of giving as well as a tax-deductible donation.
The Troop Care Program is a troop project where the troop receives the cookie share cookies to donate to a charitable organization of the troop's choice. All cookies purchased through the Girl Scout Cookie Share/Troop Care Program are tax-deductible.
Supporting girls and Girl Scouting as well as local food pantries in our area is simple through the Girl Scout Cookie Share/Troop Care Program.
Girls have big dreams and the Girl Scout Cookie Program helps give girls the skills and ability to make them come true . . . with the help of boxes of tasty treats and a lot of support from friends, family, and neighbors who generously make dreams come true.
