Make a Blanket Day was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who came to help and everyone who donated fleece or finished blankets! Our grand total was *drumroll* 103 blankets! So, leaders, go get those 100 ways to serve patches for your participants. There are Project Linus patches available, contact Rebecca before Dec. 19.

Membership Area 17’s Leadership team is planning a lock-in at Lussier Family YMCA West. Both Cross Plains and Middleton Girl Scouts are invited for either an evening and/or overnight of fun! Activities may include swimming, basketball, ZUMBA dancing, team walkers, parachute games, line dancing, karaoke, playing cards, crafts such as henna and a movie.
Arrival Time: Friday, January 20, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Lussier Family YMCA West. Please arrive 10 minutes early as activities will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Pick Up Time for those going Home on Friday Night: Friday night, January 20, 2012, at 10:00 p.m. at Lussier Family YMCA West.
Pick Up Time for those Spending the Night: Saturday morning, January 21, 2012 at 7:00 a.m. at Lussier Family YMCA West. Please arrive promptly as we will get charged extra if we don’t get out of the facility on time.

100 ways to Serve is Badgerland’s 100th anniversary service challenge! Show your superpowers by serving your community! All girls and troops are encouraged to take part in this amazing effort to give back on the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouting Movement. First, create a troop or individual service goal such as ‘plant 100 bulbs for our school,’ clean out 100 bluebird houses, plant 100 trees in our community, collect 100 food items per girl.
