Are you a Girl Scout alumnus? Come and reconnect with Girl Scouting! Our alumnae network is as strong and diverse as our current Girl Scout membership. The Badgerland Council Alumnae Association (BCAA) welcomes any person who has been a member of Girl Scouts for any amount of time. The BCAA hosts local events throughout Badgerland to reconnect with sister alumnae. Events are hosted and planned by a committee of dedicated volunteers.

Through both the national Girl Scout Alumnae Association and through Badgerland Council’s Alumnae Association, you can reconnect with old friends, relive your favorite Girl Scout memories, share stories, and find out how you can be more involved as an adult member and bring the same lasting Girl Scout experience to girls in your community.
The Alumnae Association hosted an afternoon at Camp Echo Valley. In true Girl Scout fashion everyone brought an appetizer or dessert to share – all delicious. We heard about the latest programs in Badgerland Council and how girls are connecting in our communities. Many stories were shared about our time in Girl Scouts including three of our alumnae who connected after 26 years apart! It was a beautiful fall day for a hike around the property and then we finished with some traditional Girl Scout songs.
Our spring gathering featured a very special guest – a current, accomplished Girl Scout. Dorie received her Gold Award for the project Standing True. She shared with alumnae her desire to find a way to help improve female relationships by eliminating unkind and competitive behavior between girls. “I want to help upcoming generations of girls learn to be strong, kind and to leave behind the competition that happens between girls.” Hearing Dorie’s story brought back great memories from many in the room who had also earned Girl Scouting’s highest award.
The Alumnae Association hosted a booth at the Badgerland Council Girl Scout Awards Ceremony during Girl Scout Week. Wonderful alumnae visited with graduating seniors about the opportunity to stay connected to Girl Scouts after high school. The BCAA also provided each graduating Girl Scout with a gift.
