About

Discover: Girls understand themselves and their values and use their knowledge and skills to explore the world.

Connect: Girls care about, inspire, and team with others locally and globally.

Take Action: Girls act to make the world a better place.

Discover is one of the three keys to leadership in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.  Discover works together with Connect and Take Action to develop a girl’s leadership development.

In Girl Scouting, girls discover new things about themselves and others.  Girls are introduced to new ideas, new places, new concepts, new people, and new activities.  Through these discoveries, girls explore their world . . . whether that is their neighborhood, their community, the state, the nation, or the world.
