Badgerland Council’s 2011 Cookie Program

Final Opportunity Sale

Help the girls in your troop win a trip to camp!

Girls have the opportunity to win up to 1 free week of summer camp at any of our Badgerland properties!

Badgerland Council is offering a Final Opportunity Sale for troops or individual girls who want to compete to win a free week of summer camp at any of our Badgerland properties. During the Final Opportunity Sale, troops will earn $1.00 per box troop profit for every full case purchased. Cookies must be paid for at time of pick-up and are the full responsibility of your troop. No returns will be accepted, so order wisely!

Why is Badgerland Council offering a Final Opportunity Sale?

We would like to begin by thanking those individuals who sold this year. We asked that each girl selling increase their number of boxes sold by 7 boxes. Those girls did just that! However, even though our number of girls registered stayed the same this year as compared to last, we had almost 600 less girls selling, which affected our total boxes sold.

Here are the Benefits of Participating

Help the girls in your troop have the opportunity to win up to 1 free week of summer camp at any of our Badgerland properties!

*Help your troop earn additional profit above your 60 – 70 cents per box!

Help Badgerland Council meet our goal!  We need to sell an additional 6250 cases to make our goal.

*How does your troop benefit?

For every full case purchased, your troop will earn $1.00 per box troop profit.  You will still sell the cookies to your customers at $3.50 per box, but you will only pay the council $2.50 per box.

How does a girl benefit?

For every case of cookies a girl sells, her name will be entered into a drawing for up to 1 week of camp for free.  The council will draw 4 names!

Please discuss this opportunity with the parents in your troop!

Ensure every girl and every parent has the opportunity to decide if they would like this amazing opportunity to win a free week of camp for their daughter(s)!

Parents may order directly from the council if they choose.  They would pay the full case price ($42.00) and then the council will reimburse your troop the profit earned ($12.00).

Orders will be taken starting December 1st with cookie pick-up starting December 5th.  All cookies ordered must be picked up by 5 pm on December 22nd.  Flavor choices will be guaranteed for all orders placed before December 13th.

*Please note that regular cookie program incentives do not apply to the Final Opportunity Sale.

Where Can Girls Sell Cookies?

Here are Some Great Ideas!

Family & Friends

Door to Door Sales in a Neighborhood

Holiday Open Houses

Girl Scout Cookies Make Great Holiday Gifts

Here’s How:

Print some recipes for Girl Scout cookies and offer copies with boxes of cookies - get one to make a recipe with and one to enjoy as a treat. Recipes are available at www.abcsmartcookies.com.

Bundle two or three boxes of cookies together to sell more at once; try a Coffee Break Bundle (Shout Outs, Peanut Butter Patties, and Carmel deLites) or a Tea Party Bundle (Lemonades, Shortbreads, and Shout Outs) or a Girl Scout Favorites Bundle (Thin Mints, Carmel deLites, and Peanut Butter Patties) or a Milk Lovers Bundle (Peanut Butter Sandwiches and Thanks-a-Lots) or Peanut Butter Lovers Bundle (Peanut Butter Patties and Peanut Butter Sandwiches) or a S'mores Bundle (Lemonades and Thanks-a-Lots) or a Sampler Bundle (a random mix of 3 varieties) or whatever else your imagination can create !

Wrap it . . . Offer gift wrapping so people can purchase cookies as hostess gifts, holiday gifts, etc.

If every girl sells 1 additional CASE of cookies, we will make our goal!
