Volunteers Needed April 14
Friends of the Arboretum, a nonprofit organization providing volunteer and financial support for the UW-Madison Arboretum is holding an annual fun run, the Spring Sprint for the Arb, on Saturday, April 14. The run starts at 10 am. Friends of the Aboretum is seeking volunteers to assist with event staffing.
Volunteer Opportunities for this event include:
· Serving food and water to runners
· Staffing the route (route marshalls)
· Helping with the bike corral
Some of these positions will require groups working together (the bike corral needs 3-4 helpers) and some will be independent workers (route marshalls; could work in pairs). Check the event website, springsprintforthearb.org, for more information. The event is entirely within the Arboretum and all proceeds benefit the Arboretum--the only Madison event to do this!
Volunteers need to arrive at 8 am and will be done with clean up by noon. All positions are outside.
