Girl Scouts of Wisconsin – Badgerland Council’s Property Committee and Program Staff are looking to hear from you.  As part of our Long Range Property Planning process, we are looking for input from girls, volunteers, parents, and other friends of Girl Scouting.   Our Girl Scout properties exist to serve our Girl Scouts and the best way to learn about what they are looking for in both current programs and facility offerings is to ask you!  You do not need to have visited one or all of Girl Scouts of Wisconsin – Badgerland Council’s properties to reply.  Your responses will help us to target resources for improvements needed at our facilities and improve our program offerings according to the interests and needs of our girls and adults today.

Our goal is to have an accurate representation of our council membership, girl and adult, to ensure that the input we have is accurate.  Survey responses will reflect the membership in both location and Girl Scout grade level.  For example, the percentage of responses from Brownies and Daisies should be equal, or as close as possible, to the percentage of Brownies and Daisies that make up our membership.  If you are a parent, you may need to help your daughter to complete the survey depending upon her age.  Girls under the age of 13 must complete the survey with a parent’s permission and/or supervision.   As an adult, you will complete the Adult Survey; if you are also a Girl Scout leader, you should complete the Leader Survey as well.

We do request contact information on the survey.  This is used for tracking responses received.  Only a zip code will be attached to responses when tallied.  Any personal contact information will be used to select our drawing winners.  We will be drawing for $100 in Badgerland Bucks for 1 girl winner and 1 adult winner from all of the returned surveys!  Badgerland Bucks can be used toward program opportunities, camp programs, destinations, and in our council shops.

The final day for initial survey responses will be October 15, 2011.  At that time, we will evaluate the responses to make certain we have an accurate representation of our membership.  If we do not, we will reopen the survey to targeted groups of respondents.

Thank you for taking the time to share your input as we move toward an exciting future of Girl Scouting here in Badgerland Council!  Click the links below to proceed to the surveys.    You can also download PDF versions located to the left as well.  To request a hard copy of the survey(s) contact the Madision Front Desk at 800.236.2710 x 1140 or poseyc@gsbadgerland.org.
